Every memory bear begins with a story — a favourite jumper, a well-worn shirt, a tiny babygrow outgrown far too quickly. Here is how that treasured clothing becomes a bear you can hold, step by gentle step.
Step 1 — Choose a pattern and size
Take your time browsing the bears, and choose the pattern and size that feels right. Each design has its own character, and there is no wrong choice. If you are not sure which would suit your clothing best, just ask — Debbie is always happy to advise.
Step 2 — Make it theirs
Personalise your bear so it truly belongs to the person it remembers. Names and special dates can be embroidered, you can choose the thread colour, and thoughtful add-ons — a flat cap, a little tie — let the bear carry a touch of their character.
Step 3 — Checkout
Checkout is simple, and there is no account to create. Your making timescale is confirmed straight away, so from the very first moment you will know when to expect your bear.
Step 4 — The clothing pack
Once your order is placed, a confirmation email arrives with a printable order slip and clear postal instructions. Choose two or three garments, tuck the slip inside, and post them to Debbie. Tracked post is strongly advised, and it is worth keeping your proof of postage safe.

Step 5 — Made with love
When your clothing arrives it is logged and stored safely, and nothing is cut until the design is agreed with you. Debbie then sews your bear by hand, and when it is finished she sends you a photo for approval — your bear is never dispatched until you are happy with it.
Step 6 — The hug arrives
Your bear travels to you gift-wrapped, with a care card tucked alongside. If you would like the remaining fabric returned, just say — it will come home with your bear.
How we care for your clothing
Your clothing is treated as what it is: irreplaceable. Every garment is logged against your order the day it arrives, then stored safely until it is time to begin. No scissors touch the fabric until the design is agreed with you. You can read more in our clothing care promise.
